Ethan Cisneros

My name is Ethan Cisneros and I’m currently a 4th year Chemical engineering student. I’ve had the opportunity to explore possibilities in sex-based differences in gene transfection in the ongoing inflammatory bowel disease project. Working with Olivia has been my first exposure to learning valuable cell culture and aseptic techniques which will be valuable in my future career. Outside of the lab, Olivia has been a great mentor for me in my graduate application process. Together, we’ve been through many drafts of my personal and research statements to make a sparkling application.
